As evidence about no starvation in Australia, you don't have to take my word for it - just tell your questioners to visit Australia and see for themselves.
You just talk nonsense about Aborigines - they SIT ON THEIR OWN LAND - GIVEN BACK TO THEM BY THE GOVERNMENT, and some of them sit their drinking and watching porn videos they bought with their welfare checks, and can't be bothered ensuring their children go to school. Some Aborigine leaders themselves say welfare is destroying them, just as it has created the fatherless black families in the US.
Come up with a coherent political system or policy instead of criticising the free enterprise system.
Hello again, Babette,
Yeah, I'll tell the Australian UNICEF and the UN whenever they visit Australia. That way, they'll change their statistics from "one child in seven not being able to meet their basic necessities in Australia" to "zero children in poverty."
What land? I've shown you at least five news reports of Aborigines for trying to ENTER their land. You understand, right, that Aborigines don't have a right to land, when they're being arrested for going there, right?
What's incoherent about the political system of Anarcho-Syndicalism? I have not heard you criticize or reason against it at all. You call it "bad," sure, but I require more evidence than that. And besides, you have been ignoring my questions for at least twenty e-mails: would people rather work, or starve to death? If it's starve to death, then poverty has an explanation. If it's work, then it doesn't have an explanation. And by the way, complaining about welfare, drugs, etc., doesn't explain why people on the bottom have no opportunity.
Capitalists use the welfare of the state in subsidies and in using the military to overthrow democracies in the underdeveloped world, just as British Capitalists did in Iran. The military spending of the United States is at least ten times its social spending. As far as I can see, it's the Capitalists who are receiving the welfare. And even then, for all your complaining, you're not any closer at answering the question of why poverty exists. You throw some excuses at it. I'm sorry, but welfare isn't available to just anyone, nor is it sufficient, nor are the food programs or the charities services enough. Drug addiction does not explain 1.4 billion people in poverty.
My system isn't coherent? You haven't even mustered up the brain power to make an argument against it, except by saying that Anarchist communities in the past have been slaughtered by Catholics -- which is true of other Democratic communities, too, but we don't abandon Democracy. Why wouldn't it work? Why can't it? I have not heard any valid arguments. The original "sin" of man is in rulers as much as it is in ruled, so that worsens the problem. All people is sin, living in equality, is probably much greater than one sinful human being dominating and controlling all of humanity.
But you can't even explain why poverty exists in your precious and perfect system of Capitalism. Drug abuse, addiction to surfing, being a lazy aborigine who loves porn -- I'm sorry, I don't think these are very scientific, well-thought-out explanations for the existence of starvation and poverty. Are you even really concerned with stamping out the affliction of miseries haunting humanity?
It seems like this inequality is why women are driven to abortions in the first place: because they cannot afford to raise their children. That is why Margaret Sanger fought for Socialism and unions to crush Capitalism. By this, she thought she could rid the world of the necessity for abortion. Your Pro-Life Website won't tell you this, because Sanger was genuine -- she fought religion, because the Catholic Church believes in ignorance of health information. She fought Capitalism, because it drives women to prostitution and abortion, to servility in a Sexist society. But you don't seem to care at all about the causes. How do you expect to accomplish any change without knowing how and why society behaves the way it does?
And where has Anarcho-Syndicalism practised now? Where is it a success? If it is not being practised now, it means it does not appeal to enough voters.
I have never heard of Aborigines being arrested for entering their own land. It is other Australians who might be arrested for trying to enter without permits.
Yes, some people would rather starve and use drugs than work - we see them all the time.
Just making wild accusations about the Catholic Church does not make them true. Tune in to the joyful celebrations of our first saint, Mary McKillop.
We have been over this a few times. Anarcho-Syndicalism was a success, until the combined forces of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, and the Pope converged to crush it. But even France was lost. It didn't mean parliamentary democracy was lost. And even if anarchy is rare today, it's too early to say that it is completely lost. Especially if it is the only social system that appeals to the basic human interest of every person.
Yes, you have, and I know you have, because I told you about it. Remember that slew of related materials I sent you?
I need a real explanation for why 1.4 billion people are starving. Don't you care?
Pope 'led cover-up of child abuse by priests'
Vatican Declined to Defrock U.S. Priest Who Abused Boys
NYTimes.com, oh, and finally...
"POPE ADMITS CHURCH FAILURES IN SEX ABUSE SCANDAL"
Do you know the definition of a Catholic? It is someone who believes what the Pope tells them to believe. The Pope admits that he has built up an international network of child slaves. This is the voice of god throughout the universe, you understand? If you don't believe it, you're not catholic, and this argument is a waste of time. After all, that's why you believe Socialism is evil and condoms are bad -- not for any reasonable evidence in the world, but because Mr. Pope says so.
I have just remembered there are people starving in Australia - mainly young girls from middle-class or wealthy families. They suffer from anorexia nervosa and bulimia and need expensive treatment.
It was the Popes who helped get rid of the dictators you mention. You have a skewed whiff of history and a hostility to the Catholic Church. Pope Ben has admitted their mistakes in dealing with child sex abuse, mainly by homosexual priests and seminarians who infiltrated the church. The rules have been tightened now, and those with a homo tendency are not allowed to enter the priesthood.
Those mistakes are different to saying the Church murdered 50,000 people.
re Aborigines, it is our Greens who are tying up huge tracts of land and "wild rivers" while our conservative Opposition is trying to restore land and fishing rights to aborigines.
